Funzion, was born in Mendoza, Argentina in 1983. A student of guitar and music theory since he was 14, he started his solo minimal house/techno project "Funzion" in 2003. His aim is to combine the production techniques of idm and clicks and cuts with the rhythmicalbforms of techno and microhouse. The result thus far has been a tricky, warm and energetic sound that has caught the attention of highly regarded labels such as Telegraph, Sushitech, and now Alphahouse. Funzions "Stelle" EP consists of two warm, intricate, and percussive club stompers that showcase his grasp on complex rhythms and playful melodies. "Random Kisses" is a moody vocal excursion into the mountains of your imagination. A meandering track that suits open air parties as well as it does big dark discos, this is a spring season hit.
