The overall strategy of this new EP appears since the first beats, each track presents an idea and a musical cue with an imperceptible evolution repeated till the spasm with gentle variation. Dark and deep sonority is accompanied by percussive impulses in different extent of regularity, and when the sound is too clean, Andrea and Giorgio think to soil it up a little with some digital glitches, with some scuff, with blips, with some drones or effects similar to a radiophonic disturb. The particularity of the production is its introspective research of the movement that creates a slow and constant progression in the structure of the two tracks. Complex and abstract scenarios are hidden in its deep atmospheres and ambience that could seem apparently flat to the listener. This particular sonority is also given mainly by analogue sound scape, that gives the sound of the track a particular warmth and an experimental aspect that can be put side by side to some contemporary electro acoustic composition. Synthetic Perception doesn’t grant anything, it displays a series of sound objects, like an acoustic catalogue, that gives the listener the choice to choose what to take and what to discard, an anti conformist way to compose dance music.
