With only 3 releases on the streets, Cornuta Recordings is one of our favourite labels from Spain. They spread the word of the black house music movement with a personal touch full of emotional vibes. W&p Hgg aka Hugo Giner is the owner of the label and signs all the releases. His contribution to Deep Explorer is a couple of tracks that really represent what his label expresses. The tracks, “Space part II” and “Soulmarv", combine soulful rhodes with dynamic beatbox rhythms and a special use of the vocals that remind of some Sade or Marvin Gaye, in fact the second track is his special tribute to the famous singer of Motown. On the B side of this duet-label release we can find two tracks that were edited at the beginning of the year on Ferris Park by Dubbyman but only available digitally. So..here is the vinyl version for all the vinyl collectors begging for it on plastic. Even if you haven’t heard it in the past, you must know that “Rise of the equality (Extended mix)” and his dub version “Rise of equality (Piano take beats) are a total statement of principles about the meaning of groove. Speech style under a slowhouse rhythm with hypnotic keys... The Piano version is an instrumental take with other kind of hypnosis that increment the mix...
